PA reciprocity vs. Classes for conceal carry permits
Hopefully, someone can help me understand this. Apparently, there is an outfit going around promoting a class that allows students to obtain a Utah and/or Arizona concealed firearms permit, which, according to them, "This powerful combination will allow you to carry a firearm in up to 37 different states including OH, PA, WV, DE, VA, etc."

How is this any different than the reciprocity agreement that PA already has with numerous states, as found here?

The class costs $75.00 and is four hours long. Just what exactly are you getting out of this class that you aren't getting out of a PA reciprocity agreement?

Re: PA reciprocity vs. Classes for conceal carry permits
PA does not have reciprocity with some states. Getting another state's license/permit can allow you to carry in some of those other states...if non-resident licenses are accepted in that certain state.
For example, PA and OH do not have reciprocity, but I have a WA license that allows me to carry in OH as WA and OH do have reciprocity.

Re: PA reciprocity vs. Classes for conceal carry permits
The permits/licenses of the States mentioned are more widely accepted. It has much to do with the fact that these States having a minimum training class requirement, such as the one you posted. PA has no such requirement and therefore is not as widely accepted.
Be safe (and widely accepted).

Substantially fewer than 37 states have reciprocity with PA. The idea is that you'll have more options with the the UT/AZ combo.
For me personally such a class would be almost worthless since the foreign territory I visit most often (MD, NJ, NY) don't recognize those permits either, but for some folks I'm sure it has value.I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

I see, thanks for the info. Would obtaining a Florida permit be better than getting the AZ/UT permit or would you guys get that combo too?

Go here and select license combos to see what it gets you:

Note the sentence under the map about certain states not accepting non-resident licenses. Also, I believe Ohio does not accept a non-resident Arizona license.

That's no longer an option.

The only state that I would consider a benefit would be Ohio since I have family there and I wouldn't mind taking the girls to some of the attractions in Ohio, but for $75 I'll just keep my dollars here and in W.Va.
I don't spend my money in states that could care less if I get shot there.
