    Default Really pissed at myself

I need some help, i've had this old Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .30 caliber for awhile and decided I wanted to clean it......oh shit is all I have to say...I take it apart well I take the grips off, seperated the bottom frame from the piece that still has the trigger and barrel on it. Well now I cant get the mofo to get back together....i've fooled with it for hours and hours and i'm at my breaking point....can somebody please tell me step by step how to put it back together. Or show me to a detailed manual how to put it back together because the Ruger one sucks.

Unfortunately no, I actually have a detailed gun book that just has those exploded views of guns.

Thought i'd mention this as well. I dont have a problem getting it to look like its right when I put it together. I have the problem when I get to that point and I go to pull the hammer back. It wont pull back or i've gotten it to pull back but then the damn trigger is like its jammed. I do not know what the deal is, I bought the gun used and it was just dirty because all ive done is clean the outside and spray some oil.

Ruger has some very good on-line videos for disassembling/assembling and cleaning their guns. Try this link:

(The link is in the "News & Resources" menu.)

Thank you LisaA that was perfect! I got it back together with little difficulty since I realized that the trigger problem was the spring. I had to push the spring back in while the frame was half together, anyways thank you and rep is comeing your way, you to bgeddes!
