Brass Catcher; where to buy?
I went to the range today and a guy showed up with a nifty gadget that had a loop that he stuck his hand through with a wire type opening with a bag attached that when he held his 1911, the opening of that bag was right at the ejection port and it caught all his brass. I WANT THAT!!!
He bought it years ago and I searched the Internet for some time here and can only come up with one similar catcher. http://cgi.ebay.com/BRASS-CATCHER-Gl...ayphotohosting
I'll typically rather pull my fingernails out with a pair of pliers than purchase something through eBay, and that isn't quite like the one I saw today but close enough if that's the only option.
Does anybody have any other sources for a brass catcher?

Re: Brass Catcher; where to buy?
a three word search on Yahoo fetched this result as the first link.
Always try a search engine, its what they were designed for.

I did, I used Google and surfed about 6 pages. I found the same link to Midway which is where I first started but they one from the Google search and your search is discontinued and the link result even says that. that is exactly what I want though; I may email Midway and ask where they used to get those.

FINGERS80002. Exactly what I found. Wonder which site(s) JayBell Super Moderator was directing this indivdual to?
Any questions why it took me so long to sign up?

If your not against wal-mart, get your self some net fabric there, make sure its no nylon, and then most hobby shops have stainless rods, make a sack, sew it around the rod and voila!
Ace Home depot Lowe's and Some Michaels and Joann carry the wire/rod you would need. Joann also carries the fabric, If you know some one who crochets they could make you a nice sack also. I have seen them for 1911 where there where holes in the grip and the wire actually went in from the top of the grip and not on your hands.
Have fun constructing it.Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.

You can try www.gracomodels.com. They sell brass catchers some free standing and the kind that straps to either your hand or wrist.
