Re: Small-frame revolvers chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W
You have a couple of choices.
There is the one listed above,
You should be able to find a Ruger that comes with 2 cylinders, 1 for 9mm and the other for 38 special.
Then there is the Smith and Wesson J frame "940" 5 shot 9mm.
Then the Smith and Wesson K frame 547 6 shot 9mm.
Or you can make a Frankengun as I did.
I got the Cylinder from a 940, Sent it to get bored out to 9x23,
I installed it in a Smith and Wesson model 60 (stainless steel chiefs special)
I can shoot 9mm-38 super or 9x23 !
Love this little shooter!

Re: Small-frame revolvers chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W
The Taurus 905 (linked above) has been discontinued for some time now. I'm sure you can find one if you look around enough.
I think pred's suggestion about a Ruger .38 SPL/9 mm conversion is the Blackhawk convertable which is actually .357 Mag/.38 Spl and has a 9 mm cylinder too. Nice gun, the Blackhawk (got one in .45 Colt/.45 ACP), but it's sure not a small framed revolver!
I've never seen or even heard of a factory produced gun in .40 S&W until I read through crakkajakka15's link to Charter Arms.Last edited by RoyJackson; May 2nd, 2009 at 08:44 PM.

I found a 9mm SP101, but the place wanted $800 for it. {bite me!}

This is a statement you hear frequently about all types of consumer goods. I hear that about e-fences all the time. Unless that "heard" comes firsthand from somebody I know to be reliable I take it with a grain of salt.
Ask a gun-shop owner or a gunsmith that you trust for an opinion. They get to work on them and shop owners get to aid in warranty returns. My personal experience with Taurus has been favorable.
