FBI spokesman Mike Leverock says there is no connection to terrorism. The man is a naturalized U.S. citizen who was traveling Tuesday on an American Airlines flight from Boston to Miami and on to Jamaica. His name was not immediately released.
Leverock says several hundred bullet primers were discovered inside the bag after some ignited. No one was injured, although a few small shards struck the shoe of a baggage handler.
The man was being held on a charge of traveling in interstate commerce without a license to carry ammunition.
If I can fly from Pa to Florida with a pistol and ammo in my checked bag, how is this different? When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

I saw this and knew immediatly that it would be on PAFOA already lol.
Yea what exactly is " traveling in interstate commerce without a license to carry ammunition." Even if primers aren't ammo technically.
we need some clarity here. Any ideas?

One idea is that primers are considered Haz-Mat while loaded ammo is not. I know there going to hit the guy with this charge. Because of the amout he was carring he was being hit with intend to sell/distibute as per the news last night. I didnt realize you needed a licence to sell reloading supplies but resale of pretty much anything without a license is just bad in .gubs eyes...

'Several hundred'? A couple of crates, maybe? Last time I bought primers, there were 1000 in the package, and AFAIK, they were not illegal to carry in checked baggage.
Now for the important question: berdan or boxer? (or briefs?)"...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."
