Anyone with a .303 British headspace gauge in or near York?
Anyone in or near York have a headspace gauge for .303 British that I could borrow. Looking at a couple of rifles and the shop doesn't have a headspace gauge to check them. The on has a mismatched bolt, so i just wanted to be on the safe side. Thanks

you could order one, they aren't very expensive. would be nice to have if you will be buying other .303 rifles.

Re: Anyone with a .303 British headspace gauge in or near York?
I'd have about $40 into one gauge if I order one. Picked up two No1 MKIII's the other day. I found a way to check headspace with an empty case and a used primer. Gonna do it that way and put the $40 toward ammo. Cheap method is supposed to give more accurate readings anyway. Thanks for the input though.
