Default Which Kramer best at concealment of Glock 23?

    Hi all,

Which holster do you think would conceal a Glock 23 best with jeans and a normal size t-shirt?

Kramer Horsehide Belt Scabbard or Kramer Horsehide Vertical Scabbard?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm used to wearing holsters with slots on both sides of the leather, so I'm wondering if maybe the holster with only one slot on the side (and the other one on the back of the holster) would perhaps not evenly distribute the weight?

    Thanks!

    Dan

I would think the belt scabbard would conceal better, due to less material between your holster and your belt. The loop on the very inside of the holster may add a bit of thickness.

Are you set on Kramer? If not, this is almost the same holster, but a tad cheaper, and you can find it cheaper than galco's website as well.

I bought one for my HK USP C and love it.

I have been using Kramer holsters for about 14 years. (I moved out to Pittsburgh from the Seattle area about 5 years ago). I have used both the Kramer Belt Scabbard and the Kramer Vertical Scabbard with Sigs and Glock pistols.

The Kramer Belt Scabbard is as good as it gets for OWB belt holsters.

My everyday carry holster is a Kramer Belt Scabbard for a Glock 19, get one, you won't be disappointed.

I know that Kramer's holsters are expensive, but they are worth it. I have bought Alessi, Sparks, Mitch Rosen, Galco, DeSantis, etc.......but my Kramer holsters are keepers.

I also feel that an IWB holster conceals better, but my Kramer Belt Scabbard is much more comfortable.

    Good luck with your choice

Thanks so much for the information! I think I'm sold on the Belt Scabbard!

Orive 8: I'm curious; how did the Kramer horsehide hold up under the Seattle rain? Also, did you find that the Belt Scabbard still formed itself to the contours of your body?

    Thanks!

They hold up to the Seattle rain just like they hold up to the PA rain

The Kramer Belt Scabbard is as good as it gets for OWB belt holsters; the horsehide holsters retain their shape like no other holsters (except kydex).

The Kramer Belt Scabbard is very comfortable and holds the weapon tightly against your body, but still allows a fast and positive draw each and every time.

The design allows you to get a full firing grip on the gun while it is still in the holster, a must in a good holster design. It does not collapse at all, allowing an easy re-holster process.

Again, I can't recommend them enough. Like I posted earlier, I have owned and own a lot of holsters, Kramer holsters are as good as it gets.

Kramer makes some quality stuff, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Their customer service can be hit or miss according to some reports, but I don't know of anyone that's bought one of their main holsters and had much, if anything to complain about with the holster itself.

Belt scabbard. I found it sits just right, is canted right, and carries the gun very closely.
