    It is my understanding that if you are fly a small airplane in AK you have to carry a weapon. It would suck to crash out in the bush and be defenseless against a grizzly bear.

    Uh...there's other things in play, especially in relation to HB 1747, where Governor Wolf may just not take any action on it, and allow it to become law, instead of losing the constitutional challenge that we have pending.

    Based on Civil Rights Defense Firm, P.C., et al v. Wolf and Lara, et al v. [PSP] Commissioner Evanchick, I think there's decent chance that Governor Wolf may take no action and simply allow them to become law, without his signature.
