    Default I don't like the P3at .380

No I didn't buy one, but I got to check one out yesterday at a range. Recoil wasn't the problem, and heck I could be ok with the small grip, but the trigger pull was maddening. I guess I just hate those super long dbl action jobs. I found the same maddening thing with Ruger pistols. Also it didn't lock the slide back when empty.

Anyway that is my review of the P3at...lol

Really ?? I have 2 P3's and both have wonderfully smooth triggers, very accurate and fast repeat shots are easy and accurate.
I just received my LCP back from the Ruger recall and the trigger on that is now somewhat gritty and I hope it smooths or I will have to smooth it.

Does the trigger smooth out after a few hundred rounds maybe? The gun was new, maybe 20 rounds through it before the guy asked if I wanted to try it.

If you're ever down in the Philadelphia area let me know and I'll let you give mine a whirl. I like it for what it is. It's not going to be my HD weapon nor my primary so I don't expect it to do much beyond being pointed and going bang. It's not a tack driver in my hands. It's a last ditch up close and ugly my .45 is either unavailable or not functioning type of pistol for me.

My only complaint so far is the sight picture, but I need to remember the function of the P3AT.

The only .380 that I like. Colt Mustang!! It allows you to get a good grip and is surprisingly accurate with a good trigger what else could you ask for from a pea shooter.

    These aren't bad either.

But for a BUG I like these best.

That's Ashamed, The P3at I have has been a Great little Carry gun with zero problems. FWIW the LCP slide dosen't lock back either, unless the Operator manually engages it.

d90king, Nice Mustang, I have one in stainless that use to be my Carry gun prior to the P3 -- I wouldn't part with it for anything.

I bought my noisy cricket (P3AT) about 2 weeks ago, but I havn't gotten to shoot it yet. I have shot one before and it is what it is. I had no issues with the trigger. It is much better than the P11 I used to have. I'm sure any trigger would smooth out with a couple hundred rounds.

I've been dry firing mine since I got it, and the trigger seems ok to me. It's supposed to be about 6 pounds or so.

i bought a keltec in july and i have carried it more than any other gun i have ever owned. its so light and small you can slip it in your front pocket or in an IWB holster and almost forget you have it. the trigger pull is pretty heavy but without a safety i would not want it to be too light. hey its not a target gun anyway, if used it will probably be at arms lenght anyway.
