Some pics from Maine
Every year we go up to Maine (outside Rangely) where my cousin has a camp... we have yet to get a deer but that doesn't really matter at all :P
here is what is great :P
6+ foot high rubs :P
Looks like someone likes this area?
Was that a deer? no? damn... back to sleep
Canadian Jay about to eat out of my hand... it liked pop tarts :PThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Re: Some pics from Maine
think I've gone 3 or 4 times now, most of the guys (uncles / cousins) have been up there for a good 10+ years...
Rifle hunt only. these were from last year
The problem is the number of deer are fairly low... and there are literally hundreds of thousands of acres, if not millions that the deer have open access to... so its difficult to find them and even more difficult to get a shot on themThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. De-limber

Maine is tough for deer, they have 5 percent of what we do and when you see a buck it is normally a big one. I hunted in Patton Maine a few times for deer, bear and moose. Only ever shot a bear, saw lots of moose out of season while hunting bear, a handfull of deer while hunting moose. Pretty country.
Thanks for the pics. And if you want to race, name the place and I'll show you where it's at mother f@#$&#!

Except for the 6' high rubs, it doesn't look that different than a lot of the Poconos. We've got lots of areas like that around here. Not quite as much solitude as Maine however.
Nice pics.
BTW. Any luck on Monday? I didn't see anything (hence, no phone call.)Sed ego sum homo indomitus
