Default Centerfire scope on a rimfire rifle?

I just installed a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 scope on my Marlin .22 rifle. Is the fact that it's not a rimfire specific scope going to cause me any problems at the range this weekend?

haha short and sweet. I've heard people tossing around paralax issues, but somehow I'm not buying it. I think it'll be fine.

If your scope has a fixed objective, then most rimfire scopes are adjusted for 50 yds whereas most centerfire scopes are adjusted for 100 yds.

You'll be fine. I have a centerfire scope on my rimfire and I love it.

I've installed nothing but centerfire scopes on my rimfires and never had a problem.

Your biggest problem will be running out of targets before you run out of ammo! You really can shoot much better when you can see! How do you think the rimfire silhoutte shooters hit those pesky steel pigs at 100 meters?

Anything less then the Bushnell 3-9X 32mm would be a waste on my 10-22T
    Go with it.

Worked just fine at the range today. Went through 300 rounds, had a blast. I love burning through .22LR ammo.
