    Question Antique guns

Does anyone know of a good way to get rid of antique guns? I have a Savage Arms octagonal-barreled .22 and a US Arms double-barrel 12 gauge, both in fair condition. I inherited them and have no real use for them. I know that they're not worth much, but I'd like to get something for them if possible. Any suggestions?

What he said. Your already registered so the hard part is over. You might be able to research an asking price via Gunbroker.com but given any rarity to your guns it could be less than fruitful. For good or for bad, often gun values are difficult to determine. Collectability, condition, even location come into play. Get info from your guns (make, model...they'll be on the gun) and some pictures, see what happens here.

What everyone else said is great advice. You can also sell them at a gun show or a local shop might offer you some $ for them. Keep in a mind a shop is in the business to make money so you're likely to get a fraction of what you could get with a private sale.

If you have pictures I might be interested in taking one or both off your hands if the condition and price is right :-)
