First OC into a Turkey Hill
Well, i popped my OC into a Turkey Hill cherry yesterday. We all gathered for Meleanies funeral at a small organic cafe that was very OC friendly. While waiting around i made the typical Westy comment " what the fuck is a WAWA?!?!?!" gave everyone a good laugh. got the response that it's like Sheetz. they also said i had to stop in one or stop into a Turkey Hill. well, from there we made our way up to send Meleanie off. It was a very fitting funeral that Meleanie would have been proud of.
afterwards we went to Venice Pizza. had a couple of good steak hogies. (you Easties don't know how to make a big steak hoagie so you have to order a few to fill you up). as things started winding down we all gathered outside for a photo shoot, (notice i said photo shoot and not 21 gun salute). by that time it was getting late and we had to get going. so scoutjoe and i packed up our things got in the truck and there i noticed my STEELERS hat. Joe said don't do it, but i couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to rib some ravens/eagles fans.
so i slowly pulled up alongside everyone on the sidewalk, rolled down my window and yelled "GO STEELERS" while holding my hat out the window. i saw many hands go for gun grips as i sped away only 50 yards to the Turkey Hill gas station.
i made sure i pulled out of the line of fire since there were some angry Eagle/Ravens fans looking for me. i filled up my tank, walked into pay, had many stairs from the people hanging around the entrance, but NO "MAN WITH A GUN CALL".
pretty uneventful
BTW you Easties,

Re: First OC into a Turkey Hill
sadly, no we did not stop at any WAWAs, i will hit one up on my next trip out. Scout Joe and i were pretty beat and still had a long drive ahead of us. and we did not take yinzes advice and go 30 to 222, we just went centerville rd. to 283 and then up to the pike.
Rutters, no never heard of that one, another place to put on the list of muct OC to places.
YBnormal, good meeting you too. will be keeping in touch with all yinz.
take care, be safe.Μολὼν λαβέ

Re: First OC into a Turkey Hill
Good story... So it was you who ordered TWO cheese steaks, I thought those were for 2 people.
I actually found myself OC today as a little tribute to SFN! It was nice meeting you also, watching you talk about WTF is a WAWA was entertaining too! Just think of them as gas stations with fresh food...

Half of my family is from out your way. It always cracks me up when I go out there an hear "yinz", "pop", or the "Stillers" (Steelers).
