Default FedEx Offering Free Resume Printing On March 10

FedEx Offering Free Resume Printing On March 10
By JOHN MacLAUCHLAN, WFOR-TV Online Producer

DALLAS (AP) ― While there may be no such thing as a "free lunch," job seekers can have their resumes printed for free at any FedEx Print and Ship Center on Tuesday.

Last month the number of Americans out of work increased to 12.5 million nationwide, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statics. Some federal projections have said the country's unemployment rate could rise to as high as 8.8 percent by the close of 2009.

FedEx officials say they understand how the economy has affected many people and are offering their printing services to assist job seekers across the country.

Job seekers can get up to 25 black and white copies of their resume printed for free on March 10, during regular business hours. Orders can be placed by submitting the resume on paper or as a digital file; all completed orders must be picked up in the store.

People can find a copy center at fedex.com or by calling 1-800-463-3339.

Good. I need six copies, two volumes each, including about 50 Size D and E drawings each. I'll change the cover page to "Resume" and see how good my "social engineering" skills are

HAHA, man... That's what I was thinking! For the amount of "emergency FedEx/Kinkos runs I make while traveling, I bet it'd be worth it to have "RESUME" printed in the header of each page.

btw, check out the iPhone 3G FedEx tracking app. It's useful if you use the FedEx office feature to have your materials printed and delivered ahead of your on-site arrival... just an fyi...
