Re: factory built sawed offs?
Vince,
Autoburglar is an AOW.
if its made form a shotgun with a stock, its a SBS, if its made from a virgin action by ithaca (or the MFG), with no stock, its an AOW"Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH

Re: factory built sawed offs?
The biggest difference in an AOW and a Shorty is the stamp. AOWs are $5.00 for the transfer and the SBS has another fee...I think it's $200.00 but have never bought a SBS. I have a Mossberg / Cobray AOW conversion on an M-500 and it can only wear a pistol grip. Ever. Wilson makes one called the "Wilson Witness Protection" made with a shortened stock on a Remington 870.
