Tactical Pistol Shooting
As a Pistol Instructor, it not unusual to Read, Study and Learn methods
to better to enhance a shooters ability when engaged in a Life or Death
situation to survive. I picked up a book which is titled" Tacital Pistol
Shooting by Erik Lawrence. Your Guide to Tactics that Work. For those
that wish to take their ability and take your training to a better level
of tactics, I would make this addition to your resource library. It is simple,
straightforward and step by step explanations. Check it out, found it at
Borders for $19.99, in paperback. There is 1 chapter which is 30 pages
of info which deals with tactics when a person has been wounded and
how to continue fighting. Interesting and practical. If this has been posted
before, please forgive.FUNDAMENTALS

Thanks for the reference and FYI the 2nd Edition of the book (all color photos) will be in book stores or on our website any day now. Blackheart International, LLC will be selling it for me personally. Erik

Re: Tactical Pistol Shooting
What seperates this book from the others is simple, I tend to lean towards
men that have been there and done that, kind of expierence that has
proven itself under fire and has saved lives in combat. "You Fight Like You
Train" is one of his quotes. If one of the tactics employed saves your
lower posterior, then the information is well worth the investment.FUNDAMENTALS

Re: Tactical Pistol Shooting
i'm not sure i can really say what separates it from other similar books as i have not read many other actually similar books.
however, i can say it is well written, right to the point (focusing on tactics and pistolcraft), with lots of good explanatory pics, and it is very thorough (and written by a BTDT guy).
much of what is covered in the book i learned at some point in training courses (from other trainers), but it is nice to have good reference and to see the material covered by someone else from a little different angle.F*S=k
