    Default M1A newest addition

It looked lonely on the wall at Precision Armory, so I adopted it and brought it home. This is the one I mentioned under the shops thread.

what is not to luv about a semiautomatic, magazine fed, .30 caliber class rifle, with a short, handy barrel?

i have a 16''er in plastic, that is just an all around good time.
it's only metal, we can out think it....

Very beautiful rifle. I hope she gives you many years of enjoyment.

Just a note, the scope is riding on a SAI gen 3 mount. They are prone to shooting loose do to sloppy machining, out of spec receives and materials used in production. Most people who are committed can get them to work with ample amounts of locktite.

If you do run into issue and you want something that has a proven track record. I recommend a Bassett or the steel version from Sadlak. I use the bassett picatinny mount for my rifle.

Thanks for the heads up, I noticed that at the range today trying to zero. The forward nut kept working loose. Once I finish the cleaning later going to put some lock tite on the threads to see if it helps. Once the wife clears me to spend more moola I'll check out the other mounts.
