Wow there was some terrible gun handling in that video. Sweeping people with muzzles, fingers on triggers and even a bonehead walking down range in front of a guy with a freshly loaded pistol. I also enjoyed the "Hollywood teacup" two hand hold...

it was the army in the middle of a war. safety wasnt a concern.
as for the teacup hold that was still being taught in the mid 80s. for prone it looks like it might be worthwhile.

Yep, that training probably helped a few GIs get home alive. Cool video.
