    Default Bush, SOTU, 2008

I can't wait to hear what he has to say...

    "hard work."

    "making progress."

Lol that's cause they have to sit there and listen to him. You'd feel the same if you had to sit there and listen to THEM.

I can't even watch it. That ass is the reason anyone who's 1/2 worth a damn is going to have an uphill battle in the election. And I don't even like them anyway...

    Default State of the Union

This is the first time in many, many years I have bothered to watch the State of the Union Address given by a President. I did not watch it for the Historical value (first outgoing President to give a SoTU Address without he himself or the VP running in the next election since the 20's). I didn't watch it because I expected some major announcement. I did however watch it just to see the reaction by the Dem's on several topics that I expected would be brought up during said speech.

I was appaled at the response by Pelosi when asked earlier in the day about the Presidents remark about trying to get something done with protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as well as a policy toughening the borders while allowing foreign national to enter for work. She replied "Poor baby" on the record. That bitch has no right to represent anyone! She shouldn't be allowed to speak for herself after a comment like that.

I was very happy to hear the President make the remark that judges should trust what our founding fathers wrote in the constitution and not make decisions at the whim of their gavel.

There were several times the President brought up a "hot item" that either the Dem's didn't appluad at all or were so delayed that it was apparent they were worried about their constituents (some probably for the first time in a long time) seeing them not applaud for a call for change to several items.

I was completely disgusted by the actions of the Dem's in office. In fairness several Rep's just irk the crap out of me too. I do think every decision made by the Pres. has been right but I support him. I support him because he is the man who we elected to run this country.

On a side note did any body see how many times that bitch pelosi blinks in a minute? Holy shit I thought she was either crying or getting ready to kirk out and jump Bush from behind.

PS I understand the Dem's do not support Bush or that many of the things he says are important but to clap just for votes or not clap for something that really needs changed it just assinine!

you see the camera pan on Teddy at one point? I swear he looked asleep there, pulling a Clinton-on-MLK-day there hehe. Must have been a little sleepy from the half a dozen or so martinis at happy hour earlier.

I can never stand to listen to the SotU address; the signal-to-applause ratio is too low. Transcript here: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/28/sotu.transcript/
