Determining the "age" of a Sig firearm
any easy way to tell how old a sig is? can you tell by the serial #?

You should be able to find the date code - usually at the bottom of the frame at the muzzle end. Here is Sig's reference for what the letters mean:
A = 0
B = 1
C = 2
D = 3
E = 4
F = 5
G = 6
H = 7
J = 8
K = 9
