New to this forum and the area
Hello all.
Mrs. GatorInPA and I recently moved to PA (Lancaster County). Came here from AZ, but only lived there for a year, was in FL for 15 years prior to that.
Great community with loads of fantastic info on here. Glad I checked some of it too, since the laws in AZ were pretty relaxed. Had some trust land to the one side of our house and public land on the other... could shoot and hunt on either one.
PA is way more our speed for everything else though. And with two jobs here that we both enjoy, looks like we're here to stay. Both got our LTCFs and are looking to join a club.
Anyways, I suppose this round's on me... so I am having a snobby DogFish Head 120 minutes IPA. What'll ya'll have?
P.S. - Can I say "ya'll" here or will I get run out of town?

Y'all or yinz, depending on which end of the state you hail from.
Welcome to PA!
In terms of finding like-minded folks in the neighborhood I think you're in a pretty area.
The Sam Adams Winter Lager is gone and we are working on Yuengling Lager tonight.
You are wise to pay attention to the PA Uniform Firearms Act. Although we are an island of freedom in the northeast, the UFA is indeed a bizarre set of restrictions. Familiarize yourself with it along with the stickies I show below, and feel free to ask questions.

.While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Welcome to the Keystone State. Most people migrate from PA to FL and AZ! No worries, with all this global warming, you'll feel right at home here in no time!

Welcome, Its good to see a new member join and introduce themselves and not just trying to sell some PMags for $50.
The common beer around these parts is Yuengling, just ask for lager and its what you will get.

Looks like you are lucky and are getting one of our mild winters. How do you like snow?

Re: New to this forum and the area
1. I know Yuengling well. One of their biggest breweries is in Tampa. It's good stuff. I always keep some in the kegerator. Also always keep PBR in there. And then the beer I drink...
2. Already learnt about "Lancister" and "Lebanin." We're in Lititz, so we're right in the middle of those two.
3. I'm a pretty staunch Libertarian. So everyone in the South thought I was crazy liberal, and lots of folks up here say I am crazy conservative. I suppose I fall between. Very conservative on guns, spending, etc... I suppose you could say I am liberal in that I don't care who you sleep with, etc... Note: This will be my last political post on this board. As they never end well.
Glad to be here in PA where we have seasons, great food (except no good Messican food), and awesome friendly people. Wife is a military brat, and my dad worked for the gubment, so we have both lived a LOT of places. This is by far our favorite so far.
