WTB: H&R "SILVER" Sportsman
I desparately need a chrome plated H&R Sportsman, made in the early 1960's, which was/is known as the "Silver Sportsman". These are usually found with the owner's name "professionally" engraved at the factory on the left side of the barrel. They are the standard, hinged frame, Model 999, 9 shot .22lr, Sportsman with a Chrome plated finish. I will pay top dollar for v.good to excellent examples of this variation. p.s. I know what to look for, so don't take your old Sportsman to the bumper shop and have it chromed. LOL.
Also looking for H&R Sportsman revolvers with factory 2 1/2 or 3" barrels. Respond here and I'll get in touch. Thanks.
