Default Nationwide "rights during police encounter" flyer

I came across this story and graphic and I wanted to post it for discussion's sake. I thought it was interesting, an attempt at basically a one-stop shop of a diagram detailing citizens' rights when interacting with police. Although not specifically gun-related, a lot of the information could definitely be pertinent to gun owners. It's similar to the concealed/open carry flyers I've seen posted here in the past and discussed again even recently, but on a general, nationwide level. I'm curious to see what you folks think.

    :

Constitutional rights aren’t all that effective if you don’t know what they are. A new infographic released by Online-Paralegal-Programs.com seeks to help Americans understand what rights they do and don’t have when interacting with an officer of the law.

The infographic is surprisingly detailed and includes information on filming a police encounter, DUI stops and requirements to show ID — which actually varies state to state.

Interesting graphic. I'm concerned it glosses over some important details in an effort to be concise.

For instance I'm not aware of any state where a pedestrian is required to "show ID" when detained. Oral disclosure of one's name (and perhaps other identifying info) is required in some states, and this was upheld by the SCOTUS in Hiibel, but that's different from being required to "show ID".
I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

Good info for the most part. But that graphic was way over done.

It's sad that it is legal and defensible for a cop to lie to you. Just sad.
