    Default M1A EBR Stock

Just wondering if anyone has recently put an M1A, mainly the 18", into an EBR stock. Pics and any ideas. I was looking at the Sage Navy Seal Gray edition.

Buddy of mine put his SOCOM in one, made it HEAVY, the SOCOM is now back in the original stock and the Sage is long gone.

Old war dogs need to stay true in wood.. want tacticool semi auto, just do a AR10...

Sorry just a fan of the traditional M14/M1A in war time style..

Yeah I saw it does add a good amount of weight to it. Just deciding if I wanna do the 18" or the 22".

I had a Scout Squad in one. I can't say it was that heavy. I've carried the M249 and M240 just on FTXs, but I'd take the M1A EBR setup over that weight any day. I got rid of mine b/c I didn't like the recoil impulse I got in the cheek rest. Not painful. It was just uncomfortable b/c the cheek rest had some play. I sold my Savage M10 BAS-K to get it and may have been regretting it as well (Almost twice what I paid for the Savage to buy the M1A setup). I won't lie. I also bought the EBR setup to turn some heads at the range just as my Savage did. Oh well. Now I'm on a .308 AR kick.

Old pic from when I sold it in 2012.

Yeah see I like that. Everyone now is on a AR10 kick. I had a LWRC Repr 20" and it was great but always looking for either trying something different or just a different platform. I like the setup you have there. Think I might do the 18" in one. thanks
