Great question! And that is why I am here. If you think of the "old" militia you think of farmers with guns coming together. Now it seems you have to be military or law enforcement or someone with formal training. I don't have that. So, I ask you what I can bring to the table. I can shoot and pretty dang accurately and I have organizational skills. Does this meager resume disqualify me from joining a group?

If you want to find the PA Militia just look in the mirror

Blacks Law Dictionary has militia defined as either the organized state militia or a hasty militia comprised of any and all able bodied men who own firearms.


Now if you are asking about a different kind of 'militia' Colorado style then its a sure bet that an alphabet LEO group has them locked up by now.
