Comfort food is a real thing.
Cheap long lasting food is hard to find.
Pop tarts are NOT healthy food. I know. But they have a sugar boost and a little starch and that can be a real morale booster in a hard time.

The Walmart version of pop tarts are priced at 2 bucks for a box of 6 pouches - 12 pastries.
Yes, they have all kinds of unhealthy preservatives in them. That's kind of the objective for preppers.

The Mountain House meal packages I posted about in April (go back a page for pics) are still on Rollback at Walmart.
I would not expect that to last much longer.
