Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
Downtown Pittsburgh is just not a good location for a gun show. Parking in the city sucks, driving in town sucks. The Monroeville show is never great but it's easy to get to and free parking.

I agree that downtown Pittsburgh isn't a good location. I'd think you'd have people stealing guns from that show more so than Monroeville. And, people complain of the price of admission for shows--I doubt parking fees on top of that will help. And, Pittsburgh has gone downhill the past decade. Not sure too many people want to deal with dope smoke and bums.

Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
I liked it when the PAGC show was in Greensburg PA. (Westmoreland Mall)Always thought that was a prime venue. It was a huge show back then.
Boy I’m glad I stayed away from this one but they had a lot of things stacked against them for a first show. Id probably be willing to try it out next time
Parking fee doesn’t scare me. I’m a grown up. I pay for parking when I go to a pirate or Steelers game or the arts festival why would it bother me for a gun show?

Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
I went to the show on saturday.
There was a siphon tube guy and a fudge stand, but other than those two, every vendor was gun related, even if they were limited, which was nice. Parking sucks downtown, but that's hardly surprising.
Due to the Cheer competition, the garage was full by 10am on saturday, which was kind of annoying, but street parking was easy enough to find.
I almost doubled back Sunday to pick something up but family commitments got in the way, so I ordered it from the vendor online and should be here tomorrow. One of my favorite parts of attending gunshows is having whatever I got in my hands immediately.
I'll definitely go to the November show, just to throw my support behind a downtown show.
All of a sudden though, I'm really curious about this Orange thing with big jugs. Anyone wanna fill me in?

Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
I now hear that the convention center in Monroeville is going to continue operations. Is this true? If so, will shows be heading back to Monroeville?

They hosted the combined showmasters gunshow and gem show this past weekend. The showmasters show will be back mid June.
