I doubt the slow walk. There will probably be time limit bonuses worth more.

There is no parking on this off ramp. It appears that the driver exited I-95 NB at Cottman too fast and flipped on the ground level curve under I-95. Or hit something that was disabled. I don*t think they have confirmed anything yet because of the damage.

Holy shit. That's a link worth clicking on!

That would be pretty unnerving to drive through all that smoke and see that amount of flames next to you!

Trucks drive way too fast anymore. And most of them are wearing helicopter pilot type headsets, wear sandals or flipflops, gym gear, etc...

If GOYABEAN didn't post it, it didn't happen.

Not sure at what point that video was taken. It had to be shortly after the fire started and before PSP could get on location. PFD would have ordered I-95 shut down immediately with those conditions showing. PSP may have been a little short on a Sunday morning and took a few minutes getting there. I am sure PPD helped with the on-ramps.

I wonder if there is any video of the actual collapse.

He did, and was first by 15 mins or so, in the Philadelphia sub-forum. Merged both threads.

Earlier this morning I saw a link to the fire dept radio traffic as a result of this, starting with the original alarm. They were calling for the complete shutdown of both sides of I-95 and all ramps within a minute or two of arrival. Then came the confirmations on the closures. No time wasted.
