Re: Western PA Cookout/Get Together
I know I'm not very active on here, but I should be able to stop by for a while with the little one in tow. Think the media would twist it up if they saw me with a toddler on one hip and an XD on the other? This is a kid friendly event right?
Also, not sure what I can bring, any suggestions? I'm not a good cook unless it involves thick cuts of newly dead cow.

Jan, you and Jack are in my prayers. may he get better soon and start getting back to his old self.
this is a kid friendly event, my 3 year old will be there. we are right beside the playground.
as for food, i don't know what you could bring, maybe hot/sweet sausage or Cole Slaw or what ever you can think of. the food list is on the first Post.Μολὼν λαβέ

Re: Western PA Cookout/Get Together
I work in a store, so I was thinking about bringing some charcoal, but there's like 20 different kinds/sizes. Let me know if you still need some and what kand to get. I can also get some little things that may be overlooked, like salt/pepper, cups, paper towels, etc. Also maybe some bottled water for an alternative to soda?

Re: Western PA Cookout/Get Together
Charcoal would be GREAT, regular Kingsford in the blue and white bag works great, we'll need a big bag and a bottle of lighter fluid. salt/pepper cups and papers towels would also be greatly appreciated. if you want to bring bottled water, go right ahead, i was gonna pack a case of it myself.
