Sorry. i had no idea my address was still listed in Staten Island. i live in Wayne county, PA. Staten island is a county in itself, "Richmond." but of course you would not know that. It is almost impossible to get a concealed carry in NY and there is no open carry at all.

Thanks for the response. I asked because i had read of cases where a carrier bent over to get a registration out of the clove box on a stop and was hold in for brandishing a firearm or what ever they called it. The laws are one thing. How the police and DA interpret those laws are another. For these answers you must ask someone with truce experience in these matters. I've read the laws. Thanks again. sorry about the location confusion.

I heard you can get a DUI mowing on your own property. Any truth?

I heard that also. I'd love to see them try.

Per PA Supreme Court - no. If I remember correctly, the majority said no, but that rhyming/poet justice did the Horse of Course dissent.

I would avoid a skateboard, bicycle, or any other wheeled mode of transportation for DUI's.

I worked with a guy who got a DUI on a horse in Kentucky. This was about 20 years ago.

One can be arrested for being drunk and disorderly ON YOUR FEET, (i.e., no vehicle required).

I would say that the possibility exists. If you are on your own property in your car with the keys in the ignition can you get a DUI? If the answer to that is 'yes' then I would say the same for the lawnmower. I used to have a friend who lost everything he had to alcoholism and his last rodeo was a trip down the street to the deli on his lawnmower. That one bought him a one year stay at Somerset.

Funny but I suspect it was a staged act.

Yeah, it looks staged but it's funny nonetheless.
