I have the PRO CDP II 4" barrell, and I take it everywhere. I just feel safe having it with me. Never jams, and more accurate than I am.

Too Pricey for my taste, cost more than other 1911 style guns that are just as good if not better. You can get a Sig, S&W, Springfield for less.

    I have several kimbers.

My TLE II is for IDPA, great gun, very accurate. No Issues right out of the box. 30K rounds later and still running strong ...850 or so. no frills, night sights, Front strap checkering. Good Gun

MY Ultra Carry - Needed basic tweaking (mags, springs, extractor) and runs 100% now. Daily Carry weapon. Night sights, no checkering...bought used for 500 or so.

Kimber (IMHO) rocks. I love them. They work great.

Been looking at the Night Hawk...and Wilson, .... but can't justify the additional 1000 for them at this time. The kimbers fit the bill nicely

I have to agree, those Night Hawks are pretty guns; I just wish money grew on trees because I also agree with you that a Kimber out of the box, against the Night Hawk with its price tag; money does matter.

I have a PRO CDP ll that I've havd for going on 8 years and have about 4500-5000 rounds through it and have had no trouble at all. I am also very happy with the accuracy.

Now that's a good looking gun; I was hoping to get the Pro Crimson Carry II but it wasn't in stock and they guy laughed at me when I asked how long to get one in. People are buying guns these days like never before and nobody had much of an inventory.

So I settled for the Stainless Pro Carry II and added the laser grips myself. Not that I'm unhappy.

Do some sniffing around on the NightHawks if you're still thinking about them....their quality has not been up to their price tag, recently.

I am aware of some if the issue reported with some of NH product.

Of the two... I would lean towards the Wilson. Bill's team turns out a nice product.

There are a few NH and WC at our club... both have had some issues. Gotts say, i really like Bill's work

For the $$... Ican't justify the additional 1000 ++ from my Kimber TLE II. It is a FANTASTIC weapon. Yes, there are some MIM parts in there... usually with MIM...they either work for quite a long time...or break very early. Ifn the latter...replace with a Machined part.

Mine has been flawless for 30K rounds. I did have 3 (yes 3) rounds fail to feed, but were from re-loads out of spec...works for me.
