Re: Your Pennsylvania Gun Rights ~Handy flyer to carry with you.
The current revision of the file up now is a few days old and your the first to communicate a problem...
I'll check it to be sure.
Also, I can, on request, provide other formats of the file... .jpg, html, etc but .pdf should be pretty universal for most folks needs (printing)
ETA:
Ok I checked it and it seems fine.
Does the file display ok for you in acrobat reader (after downloading it) and it just won't print for you? Or is it messed up while viewing in acrobat?Last edited by Pa. Patriot; July 11th, 2007 at 06:03 PM.

Question.
This post: http://www.pafoa.org/forum/concealed...nsylvania.html
describing where we can and cannot carry differs from what is in the tri fold you created.
Trying to be a diplomat... is one more correct than the other ?

Re: Your Pennsylvania Gun Rights ~Handy flyer to carry with you.
The flyer is limited to statutory restrictions. Including the State Parks since by statute you have to obey the park regulations (sumary offense if you do not)
The other sticky post expands to include private property information and some known PP restrictions such as casinos.
But private property rules there is no statutory reg for you to obey said rules. The most they can do is ask you to leave (as is explained on the other sticky) and if you do not then you could face trespass charges.
Clear as mud?

Yes... Clear as it's going to get.
I failed to say in my first post that you have done a great job with the flyer.
I appreciate your hard work and dedication.
Thank you

Re: Your Pennsylvania Gun Rights ~Handy flyer to carry with you.
For what its worth I just sent a copy of this flier, the training memo, as well as a copy of the Lancaster Online article to Bob Durgin(local harrisburg talk radio host www.whp580.com) . He was talking about gun controll yesterday and it reminded me I wanted to send these to him.
We the people have not only the right but the responsibility to hang tyrants for treason.

Re: Your Pennsylvania Gun Rights ~Handy flyer to carry with you.
Yea, I like the fire he has in him sometimes. I consider him partially responsible for making the "pay raise" deal such a big deal last year.
Whether or not he will bring this up on the air I don't know. I only get to listen to him for about 30 minutes a day on my drive home (4:30-5:00). I used to listen longer but I get no radio reception here at my new job. If anybody hears anything please let me know.
If he gets it "out there" I think its a good way to educate some people. And it is best for him to have "the facts" in front of him. That's why the training memo and flier are so powerful IMHO. Last time he had this as a topic on his show I seem to remember some LE or retired LE calling in telling Bob that it was completely illegal to open carry. They were quoting and paraphrasing "laws" that Bob didn't have infront of him. He had no way to verify or denounce anyone's statements. So hopefully this gives him some ammunition (pun intended) to fight the cause. Bob seems to love causes with people behind them.
You know what's ironic? It was the above mentioned broadcast/show that got me interested in guns. After listening to the show, I started researching "open carry" (found tons of posts by the infamous 'Steve In PA' by the way) then started researching hand guns. Ended up with a Glock G23 as my first ever purchase. Now I have two pistols, two rifles, carry daily and go to the range once per month. I had never really been interested in firearms before that. So yes, radio can change people. Perhaps if Bob gets this out there, more people will be interested in exercising their 2A rights.
But again, thanks to all the hard work people put into putting the training memo and the flier together. We the people have not only the right but the responsibility to hang tyrants for treason.
