I politely told him the law, he didn't believe it, and I haven't been back.
Nice since at least one of the people working there is a former cop and cops come in and out of there all the time.

No...it wasn't the taller, older gentleman with white hair. He's waited on me before and is a nice guy. I am going to mail a pamphlet to them. I thought I would bring one in...but I don't want to get into an argument with anyone there...just not worth the hassle. I got a feeling that you just won't convince some people.

I don't really understand the angst at a gun dealer employee making a in correct statement on gun carry rules - sounds pretty typical to me. But to eduatce him, if you want, just open carry at that store everytuime you stop buy to by ammo or broase etc. Pamplets don't mean much - watching some guy OC does.

If they firmly believe that OC is illegal, watching someone do it will amount to the same thing as watching someone run a red light, they'll just keep on believing you're doing something illegal. Pair the pamphlets with the act and a conversation and cover all the bases as once.

I just said, "okay," and left the store without fighting the issue. Tempted to send the store one of the flyers.

Bad idea to alienate your customers.
