Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
As I said in another thread, I've never seen a gun show in downtown Pittsburgh - at the convention center no less.
I haven't gone to a show in years, but the only two I can remember in the area are the PGCA (looks to no longer exist?) and Monroeville.
Was it a brand new organizer?
I did see an electronic billboard advertising it on the parkway east, but other than that, nothing.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I came anyway because I just wanted to get out of the house.
Only $6, since "some vendors cancelled this morning".Last edited by free; March 23rd, 2024 at 12:39 PM.

I was there literally 15 minutes, and that included taking a dump.
I've seen more guns in a high school.

Nice, so they dropped admission price after I paid $10

Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
Shoot me a message and I'll refund the difference. We had about 35% of our vendors cancel/ no show Friday and Saturday morning.
We have a little over 100 tables filled. Plenty of guns and ammo.
We had/ have billboards all over, radio, Facebook etc.
We have a few things in mind to tweak for next time. The convention center is tough with the added cost of parking and a few other things. We are always looking to improve.

Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
That is nice of you to offer. But I dont think it is worth the effort to send me $4. Thanks though. Put it towards the next show.
I hope you can find something that works in PGH. I want to see good shows worth attending. Obviously this one wasn*t the right recipe. Competing for vendors with the other show probably didnt help.
If you try a show there again some more signs outside the convention center would be good. Re: Pittsburgh Gun Show - March 23/24
I agree with the above.
Total waste of time and money.
I*m all for supporting shows but yeah, this one was really a bust.
From parking to leaving I was there less than 40 mins and that included about 10 mins for walking to and from the venue.
Was hoping for a lot more.
I*m pretty much done with gun shows around here.My feedback (formerly bigjlen): http://forum.pafoa.org/feedback-109/76092-bigjlen.html

That's pitiful! Harrisburg old main hall was almost full. Packed by noon. I know some of the vendors are from Pittsburgh way and they said they come to Harrisburg instead. I see why now!
