Re: Honest question on NFA
I don*t know if it*s better but it*s a really good 22 can, it*s modular, can be used in a short or long configuration, all stainless and has the serial number on the mount which I really like. Incase of a catastrophic baffle strike or damage can easily be totally rebuilt without going through the wait again.
Today was a good day!

Re: Honest question on NFA
I went balls deep. 20 stamps since last June when I got my first. 11 Form 4 and 9 Form 1.
I understand having a deep aversion to the man knowing what you've got but I would contend they likely already know or know enough to the point that an incomplete inventory is irrelevant. The Man is buying up tons of data from data brokers and can subpoena every bit of your digital footprint on a whim in the unlikely chance they don't have it already.
When the stack comes, it'll more likely be for wrong-think than anything. You might as well at least enjoy some shorty boi's and whisper pickle's while you wait for your turn against the wall."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

Re: Honest question on NFA
Love my Oculus. If I can help answer any questions you have about Form 1 or Form 4, feel free to holler. Stinks you aren't closer to try a couple of mine out.
My advice is don't wait. You'll do plenty of that after you file."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

Re: Honest question on NFA
Only regrets I have seen is the loss of money when you go to get rid of them IE: Estate sales. Best to do a trust or corporation and have someone younger than you in the trust or corp. who can then take possession of them. None of the class 3 dealers wanted to buy them as there was no profit in it by the time the transfer taxes were paid. Also the widows did not want them and would have to file a form 5 for a tax free transfer. I have run into this twice in the last couple months. They both ended up cutting them up and giving them to BATF to cancel out the registration.
