Reporting in that as of September 2024 they are still just checking bags.
I did notice Signal armed security patrolling around, which is good if they are going to make this policy.
But there are a lot of weapons around, prop or not, so use your judgement...

It's practically impossible to enforce a "No Firearms" policy at the Renfaire because there are too many people in costume wearing metal and carrying weapons. They make you peace-tie your visible swords and knives, but that's about it. As long as you conceal your firearm, you should have nothing to worry about.
