Re: ip banned
Modify the damn software to not apply IP bans to users with a join date greater than X years ago. It's written in PHP, should be easy to do.

Re: ip banned
Sorry folks. That was my bad. A spammer signup used an IP from a critical internet location - my trace didn't fully route the first time.
That was my Rotz'ing act..RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag

Re: ip banned
You cant.
I personally type in the IP addresses or blocks of IP addresses.
If you come across a legit, Internet Service Provider** IP that is blocked - private message me with it to open it up.
** ISP = cable company, telephone company, cell company, some radio-wireless companies, some power companies, some municipality services, and certain satellite companies. WIFI service provided by stores, malls, businesses, etc are often NOT from an ISP, but rather some 3rd party data service.
Note: blocks of IP ranges do get sold, traded, seized, etc - so if I had blocked a nefarious range, and it gets traded to Verizon Wireless(for example), it is still blocked because the ban is against the IP numbers.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag

Re: ip banned
I guess what I was suggesting is to find the snippet of PHP code that looks at the list of IP addresses and makes a banned/not-banned decision, and modify it to ignore IP bans for logged in users of a certain membership age.
