Re: Stand Your Ground example: Man pulls gun in road rage fight, caught on tape
That seems darned close to attempted murder to me... The guy followed them home, assaulted them, then pointed a gun at them and pulled the trigger. Of course he got his butt whooped by a couple of ninjas between steps two and three, but I'd say he's lucky to only be facing 12 years for that.

This guy is obviously unstable. Follows them for 40 minutes back to their house, then gets whooped, brandishes a gun then returns later and shoots their truck.....put him in jail where he belongs. This is a piss poor example of firearms owners and the many stand your ground laws on the books. This is what the anti's would use as a classic example against stand your ground laws.

Re: Stand Your Ground example: Man pulls gun in road rage fight, caught on tape
There is absolutely nothing "stand your ground" about this case. Unless you want to say the two kids could have used stand your ground to defend themselves from the crazy road rage guy with a gun. To say this is stand your ground situation gone wrong is misleading and makes a very good law look very bad.
