Re: Your 1st Gun (sentimental value)
First gun for me at age 12 was a Savage 99 in 308. Its the first and only lever gun I've shot. Its also the first gun that I still have the scar from not getting my finger out of the trigger guard at the correct time.
I blame my father since he is a lefty and I'm not."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

My first was a Glock 30. I've since moved on to more ergonomic guns, but I'll always have a fondness for the G30.

Same here, Model 25, now my kids use it once in a while. Here's the manual for the older model 25, if anyone needs it:

My first was a Rem 760BDL Pump in .270. Got it when I was 13 for Christmas from my Mom and Grandfather. Still the only centerfire deer rifle I own. I love that rifle. Beautiful basket weave checkering and high gloss finish.

My first was this little Taurus Millenium PT111 9mm. Got about 800 rounds through it so far without a single problem.

Winchester 1908 22. Still have the original canvas bag.
My grandfather bought it, not really sure when, had it on the farm in Chester County.
been shooting it since I was a little kid. Still have it.
First gun I bought was a 12 gauge winchester semi auto. It's in storage, I really need to get it out. bought it at Woolworth's when they were getting out of the gun business, I think I was maybe 19 or 20, and that was SOME time ago. (like 30+ years)
Googled a photo of the winchester, it's not mine, which is also in storage right now.

Re: Your 1st Gun (sentimental value)
Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless in .380ACP. Bought it for $90 in 1977 from a co-worker who had just opened a gun shop in MD. It was also his first gun, but I don't know how long he had it. Unfortunately, he re-blued it so no collector value but at least I get to shoot it! I researched the serial number, and mine was built around 1915.
