I am able to locate the pistol GSG 5 pretty easily, it appears the Carbine is the hot potato as most places are sold out. Who sells the 22rd mags? a member on here was selling them but I have an issue with sending a stranger a check via the mail, maybe thats just me.

I looked at one of these at Backwoods a couple of weeks ago. They felt like plastic junk.

I agree to a degree, but also want to add that it's construction is similar to their .223 rifle the SU16, so I didn't get the feeling that it was just going to fall apart.

not fall apart , it felt like a plastic toy. one of those plastic bb type guns.
