I wouldn’t have any problem at all with them issuing all the high dollar citations they want, on one condition. IF the accused is found to not be guilty, or the judge (yeah, find an honest magistrate in PA) finds them not guilty by reason of circumstance, the cop that wrote the ticket splits the full cost of the ticket, legal fees, accused’s attorneys fees, with his township and all goes to the accused, in addition to a full days pay at the accused’s normal overtime rate, and the cop pays his township his overtime rate for failing to write legitimate citations.
Then you will see honest policing, and an end to gouging the citizens.
