    The answer just came in:

"Glock stopped using the tenifer process in mid 2010.
We now use a gas nitride process, same result using a different process.
    Good day."

So.. take it up with Emma..Nucking Futs.....
Did Emma say anything about the Glocks made in Austria?

It seems that the email you got says that they still use the same process, just under a different trade name.

So it's still the same finish, but not called Tennifer?

This is true.. not called Tenifer any longer. Process is called Nitration. Learned this in my Glock Armorer's Class last July.

Different process, with "supposedly" the same result? Time will tell.. All Glocks stopped using tenifer in 2010.

A few months ago, I picked up an early 70s production Ithaca 37.
    It looked like this:

The brown truck stopped by on Friday evening, and, it now looks like this:

(I just hope it doesn't go on a shooting spree now that it has one of those pistol grip things. Maybe one of those things that goes up is necessary to round out the scary appearance.)

It is very scary but the worse thing is not I really think you can call it an ASSAULT Rifle... Well that is what I have been told... Funny how the look can redefine a simple not scary gun..

By the way looks nice.. But I do have a question after all the joking .. Where did you find the stock? I have been looking for a Mossenberg 550 and can not find nothing.

    Thanks In advance Jeremy

First time posting pics here.. so bear with me..

Went to French Creek Outfitters for a pistol, ended up with two new toys..

    CZ-99 in .40 S+W:

The selling point on this one was the ambidextrous everything, no external safety, and the decocker/slide release. Will be fun shooting this tomorrow!

    Colt/Magpul m-4:

That m-4 came with all that is shown, including the 30 rd mag..
A bit of a spring present..

All that plus they had a good amount of 308 available, so I got 150 rounds

Ready for a fun range day tomorrow!
