    They seem pretty nice.
I was thinking of getting a cheap Primary Arms bag as a "get home" bag to keep in the vehicle.
For something that sits in a car and will likely never be "used", I think it will suffice.
I'm waffling between bags and MTM 50cal cans in their sleds, for storage of stuff like that.

Oh yeah. I don't really understand what the purpose of those are.

    (a) not airtight
    (b) the cans now take up even more space

I guess if someone else can see the utility in it, go for it.

Are those actually 50 cal or are they the smaller cans? I have a few of those sleds, but they are smaller than 50 cal containers. I use them for rimfire ammo.

    A) They have a handle and therefore makes it easier to haul around ammo in quantity. If you're strong enough, you can pick up the whole sled, instead.
    B) The sled keeps them all together and makes it easier to store on an open wire shelf.
    C) Don't care if they're airtight, just storing ammo in a box instead of scattered all over the gun room.

Mine look the same and I'm pretty sure they are 30 cal-sized cans. They are nice to transport a variety of ammo types to the range (and leave them in the car.)

Looking at the MTM website, they sell both 30 cal and 50 cal sized boxes paired with that butler tray.

Probably good for transporting but not storage.
