Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
Some kids trashed "Burma Road" about 2 months back. Some of the guys there were pissed, they just set up some new benches and what not.
Spray paint and some of the tables were busted up...little bastards...who knows might have been adults in this day and age.
I'm heading out there Friday AM early to sight in my hunting rifle. I'll post any developments if I see or hear of any.

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
Can do!
We had it straightened up after we went, but I hope nobody messed up the "new" shooting benches, somebody put some time into them and they are nice.
What kind of belt fed you have? I built a Semi-1919 myself...tough keepin' the lady fed...she likes to eat .308...lots of it...

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
I was up there last Friday evening, they do trap shooting Friday nights on Burma road now.
It's fixed up and in good shape, everything has been staked down.
I'll probably be there sometime tomorrow myself.

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
Everthing went good, was done sighting in my rifle just as the sun was coming up over the mountain right in front of you.
Had the place to myself, when I was leaving one guy pulled in.
Place was pretty clean, there is a clothes dryer (well ventilated) down range and the usual debris.
Only thing that has me concerned is it looks like an access road? Is going in directly across the road, is this for the landfill? Chainsaws were buzzing out there this morning.
Anyone know what the plan/size of this landfill is going to be?

Re: Schuylkill County Members: Roll Call
Tamaqua here my friends, as far as the Burma Road goes i have been there a couple times and some of the people there were very disrespectful. might try it again though. Had my full auto AR-15, and MP5 up there and they kind of got pissed when i was shotting before they even got there. when they showed up it was a few words about how full auto should not be allowed and that anyone who ownes one should be made to pay to use any range because we disrup evry one who is not a fan of them. so i just packed up and left.
