Neither would I, but for some reason I recall reading something about .410 buck loads out of pistols years ago -- the penetration results weren't impressive at all -- a couple of inches in gelatin, IIRC.

For a face shot it'd be 10 kinds of nasty, but for a chest shot through heavy clothing? Not so much.

I'm not saying that I'd volunteer to get shot with one -- I'm just saying that I'd probably load up with .45 LHP if I wanted a self defense load.

Agree. And at that point you'd be better off with a conventional revolver.

    What's it for?

They're marketing it as a good personal defense weapon because you can use various ammo. Namely, against snakes and rodents.

I can't wait to get one, It'll be great for a truck gun.

The PDTV review says it was designed specifically for defense inside of your vehicle.

I've had my eye on the Judge for a while, but I'm going to wait and see how they hold up. I'm reluctant to purchase a Taurus these days. IMO it's basically a novelty item, but cool none the less.

    Talking Re: Taurus' The Judge

In the reviews they state that the 3" chamber will be available soon. What is confusing is that in the specifications they all list a 2.5" chamber. I also saw one report that stated 6 chambers.

I saw one in a display locally, I "think" the tag stated $359.
The 6" barrel would or should give better test results.

Aww, what the heck pull out the stops and get a Street Sweeper!

    Pretty Awesome!

Wondering what the 3" .410 would add other than a few additional pellets?
