Not true. Prior to the corruption of the term "fascist" to refer to Nazis and other such groups/administrations, Fascism was most definitely a Liberal phenomenon. Liberals and Socialists here in the United States, for example, were overwhelmingly in support of Fascism as defined originally by Mussolini. It wasn't until Fascism was (erroneously and dishonestly) used to describe the Nazis that it was conveniently redefined as a right-wing phenomenon. Nonetheless, Fascism is a distinctly Liberal phenomenon.

    Agreed.

To clarify even further, fascism is a political philosophy that places nation (and sometimes race) above the individual (definitely a leftist philosophy).
and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictator,
severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

The Nazi party (or Adolph Hitler) were definitely a fascist regime but were more centrist than left or right.
Any classification of fascism as right wing is WAY off base.

Well, that was definitely a highjack. Guess I'll bow out now

To Imperialism 2024 To understand Liberal fascism you need to check out Johna Goldberg, google him, he has some interesting talks on you tube at the Heratige foundation. He compares the ideologies of NAzi germany with the agenda of the left in this country I.E. national healthare, a gun ban etc. As for castle doctrine, I think its safe to say that even if you are defending yourself in your home from an intruder there are going to be plenty of lawyers to tear you a part even if its a simple case of self defense. I think If someone is your your house that dont belong there, their probably up to no good anyway so you should be able to take em down without any reprocutions. why should I have to retreat to a safe area first? which is my understanding of the law in PA. And the AWB? get into a grassroots effort sign petitions.educate people, tell them a semiauto rifle is not an assault weapon, just because you change a mini 14 from a ranch rifle and add a polymer stock with a pistol grip and laser it dosent make it an assault rilfe Probably drawing at straws on that last one but those are what I think are most important

At this point, I'd like to suggest that all discussion about the OP be redirected to WhiteFeather's thread, and all discussion about fascism be directed to a new thread.

    Glockman22,

    1. Locked storage in vehicle permissible in school parking lots. (A person shouldn't have to choose between protecting their kids and violating the law just because the kid has a doctor's appointment or forgot their gym shorts.)

    2. Castle Doctrine. (Mostly for the prevention of retribution via capricious civil suit. No sense protecting your family to have it devistated financially.)

    3. Requirement for all State court houses and attached buildings to have secure gun lockers at entrances to prohibited areas. (This would be nice but isn't a "must have")

Lemme know if you need any help contacting/writing state reps, etc., if any of this should move forward.

On the national level, I wish that we could get Congress to make a law recognizing any state's LTCF in any other state, without question.

Simple suggestion: How about going back to the Pennsylvania Constitution.

The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned

Imperialism's list was good, I'd start there.

Also, and this is a long term thing, I would like to address the restrictions of machine guns, short barreled rifles, silencers, and all of the NFA items. I think data supports that these restrictions are pointless except to limit free people.

We know Ron Paul would be for it, he has said as much. Maybe we could get something going with that, although this is a national issue and second to the ones mentioned previously in this thread.

Is it the stand your ground law? or is it something else but just as important? The question is whats important to you as a gun owner for this year?
I'd say erase all gun laws. We have the only one we ever need. The 2nd Amendment. One can dream right?
