Re: North Strabane Township Police Oppression
The sheriff knew or should've known the laws that every citizen with a gun is expected to know.
I hope your lawyer can make the judge realize that this "expert" in the law delibertly with full knowledge of your rights intentionaly denied you of yours
and can no longer be trusted as a protector of citizens rights.
I hope your lawyer can nail his ass hard.

1/3 acre zoned industrial? What are the adjacent properties like?
I'm getting a "just because it's legal doesn't make it right" vibe.Fortune fingers the fearless

Re: North Strabane Township Police Oppression
These are the particulars hopefully his lawyer can clarify. At least in my township, you cannot discharge a firearm within I think it's 200 yards or meters of an occupied dwelling or place of business. A third of an acre would make that a bit difficult in any direction, unless the adjacent lands are empty or abandoned (and even then there might be an issue because abandoned lands *could* be occupied, even if illegally). The police officer might have technical grounds beyond what is stated plainly in the law for his claims of *gonna git you sucka*. Again, this is what a professional lawyer is for, for us normal joes that can't or won't read the billions of little tiny technicalities that a determined *peace officer* or DA could string together to create an arrestable and prosecutable situation out of nothing.
