Check your 9mm can. I have a Liberty Centurion t for 9mm and it is also rated for 300BO. You may save some time and money and be able to buy another gun or something.

Agreed. There are 'multi-caliber' suppressors. My older Liberty Mystic is a 9mm can rated for 300 BO.

Some will argue that a dedicated caliber can is quieter, and technically that's likely true, but will most people be able to tell a 1-2dB difference? And is that negligible difference worth the price of another suppressor?

Some of the 9mm cans are only rated for subs for the 300 BO. Dedicated caliber specific cans always perform best for the caliber it*s designed for, especially when shooting subsonic ammo.

Valid point. I only meant that sometimes the little extra juice may not be worth the squeeze. If a multi-cal can is able to handle whatever you shoot, it may not be worth buying another one for a 1-2dB difference. My Mystic is rated for sub and super 300 BO in full auto (which is irrelevant to me, lol).

Picked up a couple suppressor hosts today but my favorite by far is this Beretta Bobcat 21a. Ghostbuster model w/aluminum grips. The tiny gun with the small super light can is a hoot

I know what you mean, 30 cal can is a good option cause it works pretty good on a 5.56 as well. Only recommendation I make is if you*re going to shoot a 22 get a dedicated 22 can.

Which is lighter, the gun or the suppressor?

I've heard this a few times. What is the reasoning behind that?

22 is very dirty and lead build up is the main reason.
