Good news Bad news! Well I did it, I returned my Sigma and they gave me 85% if the price back toward the Springfield XD that we ordered. That’s like charging me $40 to rent the gun for a month, great deal. The bad news is the XD will take a week to arrive since they had to order it! The other bad news is I got ride of the Sigma. I thought my wife would keep it, like you say Frenchy, for $250 she should have kept it. But I am happy either way.

DPB, I was shooting my Father-in-laws 1911 today and I see what you mean, nice gun! But I will not tell my wife that I need one just yet. However he is interested in a conversion kit. Thanks for the info on the conversions, I think he is interested, and Christmas is coming

As a result of this thread, I ordered an Advantage Arms 1911 conversion. I will report on it when I get it, but they are quoting a 6-8 week wait right now.
