Re: Could you be paid off for a gun ban?
OK, but you would probably be the only one...And if your the only one, then you probably would fall into the "sheep" catagory.
Caes in point:
Everyone at work complains about how the employer is unfair and makes them work too much for little pay. They all say the same thing, "we should just walk out, that will teach them and send them a message" But yet no one is willing to do so! Because they value the money! Lets face it, no one in here will fire the "shot heard round the world"! AGAIN! If they were then no one would follow them and they would be labelled a crazy person and most likely be dead at the hands of officials. The headline would read " delusional person killed by police ruled justifed"

Re: Could you be paid off for a gun ban?
Come on man, seriously? The day law abiding citizens start having to use lethal force against government oppressors you really think they will give a fuck what it reads in the morning paper? Case in point is working at a shitty job bears no correlation to having guns confiscated and losing freedom as a nation. If you want to be the person to sit there and bitch and moan fine, but there are ALOT of people who won't get on their knees and beg to be shackled like you are implying you would.

Re: Could you be paid off for a gun ban?
If the government was offering 10 million dollars for those who turn their guns in, I'd stock up on supplies because it would make the dollar worthless overnight. Even if only half of the gun owners in this country cave, that's 50 million people with 10 million dollars each, all trying to buy Ferraris and mansions the following day. It will result in the total economic collapse of the country, via hyper-inflation. After such a deal is made, the dollar will be worth less than a penny is now.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

If the gun ban were Constitutional (re: an actual mechanistic amendment), hell yeah I'd grab some free cash.

Re: Could you be paid off for a gun ban?
It is probable that no one here moved away or insurged when Wright v. Commonwealth, 77 Pa. 470 (1875) was decided. They didn't when the NFA was passed, or the GCA, or the FOPA, or the AWB, or the UFA, or at implementation of PICS, or EOs banning imports, or any such thing. The fact is that they're all gun bans whether you had the gun already or not.
Searcher67 also captures the idea. Frankly, we're a bunch of pussies, and we've already had our bans but never even got any money out of it.
